Author Interview with Tamara Mickelson: Maren's Journey

Why do you feel you had to write "Maren’s Journey?”
I’ve always dreamed of writing my very own book. One day out of nowhere, the story just came to me and I began to write. Once the story developed, I was committed to it and dedicated to tell the story. It’s a light-hearted novel that will keep the reader interested. It’s easy to identify with one or more of the characters and see yourself in them. You will definitely love the journey!

From where do you get your ideas?
I have no clue. Ideas just pop into my head, and when they do, I write them down immediately so I won’t forget them.

Do you ever experience writer's block, and how do you overcome it?
Yes, I have experienced writer’s block. I don’t force my writing, but instead allow it come naturally. If nothing comes to mind, I’ll set the book aside for a day or two.

What advice would you give to aspiring writers?
Just start writing! You’ll be surprised how easy it is to write once you get started!

If your book was made into a movie, who would play each role?
Rachel McAdams would play Maren.
Amanda Seyfried would play Casey.
Jude Law would play Dave.
Edward Norton would play Jake.
Christian Bale would play JB.

Description
