Featured Author, Ginny Clarke
Author of Career Mapping: Charting Your Course in the New World of Work

Why did you feel you had to tell this story?
The world of work has changed forever; many jobs have been lost, some never to return. This book was written to help individuals adopt a “free agency” mindset to chart their own course in the world of work.

Where do you get your ideas?
I changed careers five times and draw upon my experience as a frequent career changer and executive recruiter.

Do you ever experience writer’s block and how do you overcome it?
Yes. I usually take a break and work on something else, attend networking events, read others’ articles. When I return back to writing, I am refreshed and the words flow from the pen.

What advice would you give to aspiring writers on the writing and publishing process?
Be patient. Stay focused on what’s important to you. Be patient.

How do you market your work? Have you found some avenues to be more successful than others?
Social Media (Facebook and Twitter)

If your book was made into a movie, who do you picture playing each part?
The ageless Diahann Carroll or Kerry Washington could play Ginny Clarke.

Author Interview with Nathan Crane: 27 Flavors of Fulfillment

A Conversation with Nathan Crane, Co-Creator of "27 Flavors of Fulfillment"

Featured Author, Nathan Crane
Co-Creator of "27 Flavors of Fulfillment"

Why did you feel you had to tell this story?
There is an overwhelming percentage of people experiencing depression, anger, fatigue, disease, and lack of meaning in their lives. I know from experience that it’s easy to get caught up in the systematic societal structures we’ve created as a technocratic society, therefore hindering us from experiencing life in an organic, natural, and exciting way. From addiction and homelessness, to living a life of meaning, passion, and purpose, I felt it my duty to explore, experiment, and compile the compounded wisdom from experts and master teachers on what it means to truly live a life of happiness and fulfillment.

If there is ever a time to slow down our lives and take a moment to breathe, reflect, and contemplate the deeper meaning of life, it is now.

Where do you get your ideas?
In "27 Flavors of Fulfillment," 27 expert authors share their personal stories, adventures, and ideas on what it means to live a fulfilling life, how to live life to the fullest. In my own personal journey on this planet, my ideas not only come from the reflection of profound wisdom such as what’s found in this book, but through deep contemplative meditation throughout my daily life. There is an infinite source of knowledge available throughout the Universe, and each one of us has access to this incredible library of wisdom through observation, contemplation, and meditation.

Do you ever experience writer’s block and how do you overcome it?
No, I can’t say that I do experience writer’s block. If I sit down to write, it usually flows right out of me. If something doesn’t come, I know that it’s just not the right time to write, so I move onto another project and come back to it later in the day or the week. Innate inspiration will guide you to write what it is that is most valuable for you to write. If you try to force it out of your mind, it’s like squeezing a balloon full of water. What you need to do instead of squeeze the balloon, is open the valve and allow the water to flow out.

What advice would you give to aspiring writers on the writing and publishing process?
Just do it! Don’t write because you want to make a million dollars or become famous. Write because it’s what you love to do. If you write about something near and dear to your heart, and it can somehow benefit others in their lives, than you will be successful write, and you will be happy, whether you have a large bank account or not.

How do you market your work? Have you found some avenues to be more successful than others?
I own a publishing company, Panacea Publishing, Inc., and The Panacea Community www.ThePanaceaCommunity.com. So we market through a large number of ways. Online, social media, radio and TV, telesummits, blogs, and affiliates.

If your book was made into a movie, who do you picture playing each part?
This is an idea we’re already working on, and it is a documentary including all of the 27 authors who were originally in the book. We would also bring in and interview other experts such as Wayne Dyer, Gregg Braden, the Dalai Lama, and Oprah.
