Why did you feel you had to tell this story?
The world of work has changed forever; many jobs have been lost, some never to return. This book was written to help individuals adopt a “free agency” mindset to chart their own course in the world of work.
Where do you get your ideas?
I changed careers five times and draw upon my experience as a frequent career changer and executive recruiter.
Do you ever experience writer’s block and how do you overcome it?
Yes. I usually take a break and work on something else, attend networking events, read others’ articles. When I return back to writing, I am refreshed and the words flow from the pen.
What advice would you give to aspiring writers on the writing and publishing process?
Be patient. Stay focused on what’s important to you. Be patient.
How do you market your work? Have you found some avenues to be more successful than others?
Social Media (Facebook and Twitter)
If your book was made into a movie, who do you picture playing each part?
The ageless Diahann Carroll or Kerry Washington could play Ginny Clarke.
