Indiegogo: Coffee Shop Conversations, by Jed Jurchenko

"Coffee Shop Conversations: Building Leaders, Growing Relationships," provides practical, Christ centered tools for thriving in relationships, leadership and life in a casual, coffee-room chat format! This project is both academic and personal. Academically, Coffee Shop Conversations contains up to date research used by therapists and life coaches to support people in achieving their goals. On the personal side, these are tools that I teach on a daily basis. I have witnessed the powerful impact of the tools taught in this book in the lives of others and have experienced this life changing impact myself.

About the Author
My name is Jed Jurchenko. I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist and psychology professor. I graduated from Southern California Seminary with a Masters of Divinity, then returned to complete a second master’s in psychology. I prefer to keeping things California casual and the majority of my free time is spent with my family. It’s my favorite place in the world to be. We especially enjoy spending time at the beach, going camping and BBQing.

As you can probably tell by now, I’m also extremely passionate about theology and psychology. I love sitting in our wide variety of eclectic coffee shops, reading up on the latest research. Exploring these to areas is both a career and a hobby! My favorite part teaching is watching student’s faces light up as they discover how psychology and Scripture work together to provide practical answers to life's challenges! If you have questions about this project or would like to talk more, I would love to hear from you. You can e-mail me at jjjurchenko@socalsem.edu. If you would prefer to communicate by Skype, phone or text, send an e-mail with the best way to contact you and I'll connect with you within the week!

Indiegogo: Blotted Down - The XTC and LSD Chronicles, by Robert Schaefer

True life stories of a group of friends during their years running rampant, fueled on psychedelics

Fund the publishing and first print of a collection of real life stories from the late 90s LSD and XTC fueled nights of a group of friends. Nothing held back!

This book is something that has been an idea for awhile, but has been pushed aside many times due to the content or nature of the content.... but after some more thought and having lived a "milder" life for many years now, its been decided to share the all out psychedelic fueled craziness that ensued thru the late 90s early 2000s.

A few years after graduating high school a group of friends got introduced to the party scene and the whole electronic music scene and light shows, which came along with what became a few years worth of ingesting more LSD / XTC / Mushrooms / DMT (and anything else of the sorts), and ingesting enough at times to feed not small but a large army!

Nothing is held back in this book, you will get it all, the good the bad the ugly the beautiful. It was a hell of a ride then and writing about it all was a hell of a ride as well, so pick up a pre-order and dive into the shear nonsense that evolved not just friday and saturday nights, were talking weekdays weekends, dropping hits of acid on the job, yup everywhere anywhere and anytime, it was almost "normal" if you could call it that lol.

The book includes stories of driving home at 4am still in another world doing 70 music screaming and noticing someone missing in the car to find them riding on the roof with glow-sticks in hand down I-95 thru Philadelphia. Encounters with the police as the driver confesses all the chemicals hes ingested within the past few hours and having the cop actually give a push off the highway and leave w/o any kind of troubles at the time, driving from Pennsylvania to Tennessee 12hrs away and starting the trip by folding a ten strip of acid under the tongue to arrive with four flat tires and banged up rims yet otherwise intact (what went on during those 12 hrs??), to trips to the grocery store at 3am to buy bologna to feed the fish in the tank and acting as if nothing was out of the ordinary that although with pupils as big as the moon and all on the edge of psychosis. You will be thoroughly entertained, you think parts of fear and loathing was crazy, I'm pretty sure this book surpasses the insanity by far.
