The Britannia Conspiracy, by Peter Middleton

The Britannia Conspiracy, by Peter C. Middleton
"Refreshingly original, vividly engaging, suspenseful and action-packed from start to finish." - Amazon Review

An action-packed horror-thriller laced with dark, cynical humour and torturous cliffhangers as Britain faces what could very well be the very final chapter in its long and illustrious history.

Great Britain has produced its fair share of heroes, men and women who've fought bravely to protect and defend their nation. Boudicca was one of the first, a fierce warrior-queen who, in AD 61, united Britain’s tribes, and led them to glorious victories over the occupying Roman armies. During these great battles her hordes mercilessly killed around 100,000 legionaries and hung, burned or crucified their prisoners. Two thousand years later, those same Roman soldiers are back, emerging from their graves with an insatiable desire for vengeance, and a ravenous thirst for blood.

When traditional weapons fail to destroy them, a new generation of heroes must rise and step forward; ordinary people, with extraordinary skills, willing to risk their lives in a battle against the living and the dead. They have just hours to uncover a secret that has been hidden for nearly two millennia, and recover the one relic that can send this invincible zombie army back to hell. If they fail, they will be the last heroes Britain will ever have, because the nation’s history will come to a devastating and cataclysmic end.

Every minute counts in this highly entertaining, fast-paced action thriller, full of engaging characters and a relentless stream of tortuous cliffhangers that will keep you thoroughly engaged until its breathtaking and truly devastating finale. You will find it hard to put this book down and will be left desperate to read the next Britannia novel.

Blood for Blood, by D S Allen

Blood for Blood
When you lose yourself, you lose everything.

In the midst of the religious and political fermentation of Cromwell’s Interregnum, Daniel Davenport, a Royalist captain imprisoned in Fisherton Anger Gaol since the battle of Worcester, must act quickly after his sister has been accused of witchcraft and murder. Manfred Hugo’s crusade against brother and sister binds together the fate of many in a tragedy of their times.

"Blood For Blood" reflects the struggles of new and old government, true friendship and enmity, great events and the struggles of daily life, the fate of rulers and their subjects, the power and fragility of love and how blind corroding hatred consumes the soul.
